the name comes from a feeling we remember from childhood — the urgency, excitement, and joy of racing back to the couch so you wouldn’t miss your favorite show. before rewinds, before on-demand, before everything was always available. if you missed it, you missed it.
race you home! you’d yell, already running.
as content has become endless, that feeling has become rare. race you home exists to make work people want to show up for… stories that hold attention, spark curiosity, and earn presence. work that feels lived-in, not disposable. stories matter more when they’re made with intention.

what we believe
life is made rich by real, human stories. every story has meaning when it’s given the right environment — one rooted in care, trust, and attention.
there’s no single answer to any project. the work comes from listening and understanding, not forcing a vision onto it.
we believe the industry often reproduces itself — same voices, same paths, same outcomes. space isn’t usually given. it’s taken, built, and protected. race you home exists to help create that space, so different voices and approaches can live, grow, and be seen.

we start by listening. every project begins with understanding what a client wants — then working together to uncover what they actually need to get there. clarity doesn’t come from control. it comes from collaboration.
we don’t bring a single style, formula, or answer into a project. the approach shifts based on people, context, constraints, and intention. the work takes shape through conversation, trust, and alignment — not ego.
our role is translation: turning ideas into stories, goals into emotion, and complexity into something clear, human, and watchable.

who we build with
race you home is intentionally collaborative. we assemble teams based on the needs of the story — directors, cinematographers, editors, producers, gaffers, grips, designers, and sound artists who bring both craft and care to the work.
there’s no fixed roster, only trusted collaborators. the right people make the work better, and the work should always honor the people who make it.

where we come from
race you home was founded by marques “keese” mosley in los angeles in 2020. as a black-owned production company, the goal was simple: create space for diverse voices to belong in an industry that is often gated, repetitive, and slow to change.
since then, race you home has grown through collaboration, trust, and a commitment to making work that feels honest — for clients, collaborators, and audiences alike.
we love telling stories across formats like brand films, documentaries, testimonials, commercials, music videos, social-first content, experiential and event recaps and more.
